The Aspen Center is a developmental early education program dedicated to the growth and learning of the individual. For nine years, The Aspen Center has provided quality therapy services and programs in Wake County for children with a variety of skills and diagnosis. Their goal is to develop speech, cognition, literacy, motor and social skills through structured and unstructured activities, routines, and play.
They serve children from birth to 6 years old with a variety of diagnosis including but not limited to: Apraxia, Autism, Sensory integration, Developmental delays, Cerberal palsy, Downs syndrome, Feeding issues or Dysphagia, and Typical peer development
The Aspen Center has touched the lives of longtime TSF-member Gary Sikes’ family. Many of you who know Gary are aware of his high-level of involvement with the Autism Society of North Carolina. Gary’s grandsons, 6-year old Luke who is autistic, and 3-year old Teddy have both benefited greatly from the development work of the Aspen Center.
The school is currently in the midst of relocation from Raleigh to Cary and is hosting a Festi-Fall event on Saturday, September 26th as a fundraiser to support the move. Triangle Soccer Fanatics has taken a gold sponsorship for the event and invites our members to make a small contribution to the Aspen Center’s fundraiser in support of the work they have done for Gary’s family and the broader Triangle community.
