TSF Pub Partner Program

Triangle Soccer Fanatics is pleased to announce our new TSF Pub Partner program ahead of the 2016 season.  Working closely with microbreweries in the Triangle area, TSF is building a partner network of local businesses around two of our favorite things – watching soccer and enjoying locally-crafted beer.

In collaboration with our partner network, Triangle Soccer Fanatics plans to host over 30 separate soccer viewing events around the RDU-area over the course of the 2016 calendar year.  These events will include match watching parties for Carolina RailHawks away matches, USA Men’s and Women’s National Team matches, the Copa America Centenario, the Euro 2016 Championships, and the 2016 Summer Olympics.  These events, which are open both to our members and to the general public, will be hosted in our partners’ tap rooms and include special promotions, giveaways, and in some instances, participation by Carolina RailHawks players, coaches, and staff.  TSF’s pub partners will also provide beer for other club events such as select tailgate parties before RailHawks home matches and will even brew a TSF-signature seasonal crafted by TSF’s own Brew Master champion.

Platinum Partner

Joining TSF’s Pub Partner Program as our exclusive Platinum partner is Cary’s Fortnight Brewing, the only Triangle-area microbrewery focusing exclusively on UK beer styles.  Fortnight’s range of English Ale, Porter, ESB and other British-inspired beers are the perfect companion to watching football (soccer, to us Yanks).

In addition to hosting numerous watching parties in their taproom, Fortnight will also be sponsoring Triangle Soccer Fanatics’ homebrew festival, our annual fundraising event to be held on June 4th before the RailHawks match against the Jacksonville Armada.  At this event, TSF members will vie for the title of TSF Brew Master.  The winning brewer will then have a chance to work hand-in-hand with Fortnight’s Master Brewer in order to create a TSF-signature seasonal which Fortnight will brew and make available for sale in their tap room.

Ponysaurus features daily food trucks as well as bar snacks and will be exclusive Durham location for TSF watch parties in 2016.

Crank Arm Brewing in downtown Raleigh has built itself around a theme of bikes and beers, but it also holds a special place in the history of soccer here in the Triangle.  It was in the Crank Arm taproom, assisted by a round of their White Wall Wheat Belgian-Style Wit, that the decision to incorporate Triangle Soccer Fanatics as a non-profit was made.  Now TSF is excited to return to the scene of our genesis on a regular basis for watch parties in 2016.

Located in Raleigh’s warehouse district, situated among iconic downtown establishments like The Pit, Humble Pie, Poole’s Diner, and other favorites, Crank Arm’s tap room is the perfect place to start a night out in downtown or finish the day.
