For the fourth time this season, the Seattle Sounders had Carolina’s number: zero. And this time, it was enough to send the Sounders into the second round of the USL First Division playoffs with a 1-0 win Sunday and 3-0 aggregate series victory.

Seattle, having shut out the expansion RailHawks in their previous three meetings, did it again on Sunday night at Qwest Field. Leighton O’Brien’s penalty kick just a few seconds before the end of second-half stoppage time gave the Sounders a 1-0 victory in the second leg of the two-leg, total-goals series in front of 3,640 fans.

Tough end to the Season. However, the Hawks exceeded all my expectations making the play-offs and the semi's of the USOC. I think the nucleus is there to be keep. We need to get more creative forwards who know how to make space and run off the ball. A good first Season.

Jarrett - Thanks for all you did and do. You have a right to be proud.
