The Raleigh Elite bounced back from 2 early season losses to get a win Friday night at the Cocoa Beach Expo Center as they defeated the Expos 3-1.
Tar Heel Andre Sherard gave Raleigh the early lead in the 10th minute but Gabriel-Marin Shibly equalized for Cocoa Beach before halftime. Campbell's Guillermo Guadarrama gave Raleigh the lead for good in the first minute of the second half and Duke's Spencer Wadsworth added the insurance goal late after Raleigh were down to 10 men when Appalachian State's Michael Walter's was sent off in the 68th minute.
Raleigh continues their Florida swing tonight when then take on the Palm Beach Pumas at 7pm.
