TSF Website has Moved!

There's usually a lot of crap on BigSoccer, but once in a blue moon there's a thread that is really good or gets you chuckling. Right now there is a running thread remixing movie lines from the Princess Bride, one of my favorite films of all time, as spoken by members of the US National Team.

Here's a few of my favorites so far:

John O'Brien: Why won't my legs move?

USMNT Trainer: You've been mostly dead all season.

Italy: Hello there. Slow going?

USA: Look, I don't mean to be rude, but this is not as easy as it looks. We haven't made it past the quarterfinals in 75 years so I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't distract me.

Italy: Sorry.

USA: Thank you.

Italy: Still, I do not suppose you could speed things up?

USA: If you're in such a hurry, you could lower a rope, or a tree branch, or give up Giuseppe Rossi.

Italy: I could do that. In fact, I've got some several strikers of questionable citizenship up here. But I do not think that you will accept my help, since I am only waiting around to kill you.

USA: That does put a damper on our relationship.

Italy: But I promise I will not kill you until you reach the semis.

USA: That's very comforting. But I'm afraid you'll just have to wait.

Italy: I hate waiting. I could give you my word as an Italian.

USA: No good. I've known too many Italians.
