Triangle Professional Soccer continues to give fans the chance to name the area’s new USL expansion soccer team. Submissions for the naming contest will be accepted via the Team Name Suggestion Form, starting today and ending June 9. The fan who submits the winning entry will receive two lifetime season tickets and will be invited to the USL All-Star game as a guest of Triangle Professional Soccer.
Fans who have already submitted suggestions for the team name do not need to enter those names again. Suggestions already received will remain under consideration.
The winning team name, logo and colors will be unveiled July 19 at halftime of the United Soccer League’s All-Star game against four-time English league champions Sheffield Wednesday of the Coca-Cola Championship League.
