Martin Nuñez has been named one of 3 finalists for the USL-1 rookie of the year honor. Leaving college after his freshman season at Georgia Perimeter College proved to be a wise decision for the diminutive attacking midfielder from Uruguay who shared RailHawks' co-offensive player of the year honors with fellow South American Santiago Fusiler. Nuñez was the club’s second leading scorer with five goals and two assists in 28 games and is vying for the title of rookie of the year with Osvaldo Alonso of Charleston and Vicente Arze of Vancouver.

Should of never let STEELE leave the railhawks. That alone should get Economedes fired! What next, let nunez go to another team to help them win a champioship! Cmon get rid of that ego in the front office. He is clueless and has had a free ride for years now. Just my honest opinion! Go railhawks!
