RailHawks midfielder Kupono Low started and played 90 minutes for Puerto Rican National Team Wednesday night as they defeated Bermuda 2-0 in a friendly. The Puerto Ricans are preparing for their World Cup first round qualifier against Dominican Republic in February.

Low, who is Hawaiian by birth, is eligible to play for the Puerto Rico team as they are a territory of the United States but compete as a sovereign federation within CONCACAF. Any American player not capped by the US National Team is technically eligible to play for Puerto Rico with their American citizenship under FIFA rules.

Next up for Low and the Puerto Ricans, who are lead by former FC Dallas and current Puerto Rico Islanders coach Colin Clarke, is a friendly against Trinidad and Tobago on January 26th.
