The pizza delivery man was on his way. The beer was chillin’ in the fridge, and a handful of hardcore RailHawks fans were gathered around the 46″ in flat panel TV in my living room. We had the laptop hooked up and ready to go. As kickoff approached, we logged into what I can only term as a huge disappointment.

The RailHawks won 2-1 in Charleston today in a preseason friendly but may have ended up on the short end of the balance sheet as Kupono Low had to leave the match with a knee injury just before halftime.

nick Just 24 hours after dropping a 2-nil loss to UNC in Southern Pines, the RailHawks rebounded to draw the defending USL-1 champs Montreal Impact 1-1 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary as they continue their pre-season preparations for the 2010 USSF D2 season. Nick Coiffi has all the details.
