Opening Day of the RailHawks’ 2010 campaign is only a few days away. Here’s everything you need to know about supporters club activities for this coming Saturday night.
Tailgate Location
New in 2010, the RailHawks are going to be encouraging more folks to tailgate by setting up a dedicated tailgate area at the lower end of the VIP parking lot, making Field 8 available for kids to play on, and having a live band warming up the fans before the matches on Saturday and Sunday evenings. The RailHawks have asked TSF to join the party so we thought we’d give it a shot.
We’ll be setting up our tailgate in a new location — at the lower end of the VIP lot directly in front of Field 8. Take a look at this map to see the exact location.
Look for the blue tent with TSF banner flying. We’ll be tailgating from 5pm on matchday. We’ll have a grill fired up so bring your own food and drinks (and maybe a little to share) and join us to get the party started early.
If you haven’t already, head over to our event page and RSVP so we’ll know to expect you and share what you’re bringing to the tailgate in the comments section.
T-Shirts!
2010 T-shirts have arrived and they look awesome! If you have pre-ordered online, your shirts will be available for pickup at the tailgate location. If you have not purchased yours yet, they will be available for sale at the tailgate location and in the supporters section at halftime and after the game. T-Shirts are $15 cash and exact change is greatly appreciated.
Tickets
If you haven’t already purchased your tickets, don’t forget to order tickets online using the ‘TSF’ discount code to save a buck off the advance sale price prior to game day (and earn TSF a $1 commission as well to go towards the running of your supporters club!)
Passback
In 2010, TSF will be collecting used soccer equipment for charity donation through the Passback program. Click here to learn more about what type of equipment you can donate.
Please bring your old gear to donate to the cause either to the TSF tailgate location or look for our donation bins just inside the main gates at WakeMed Soccer Park. Soon you’ll also be able to drop off your donations at XL Soccer World as well.
Post-Match
At this point, the RailHawks have not announced an official post-match gathering location. We’ll take a straw poll in the Depot after the match and see where folks want to go. Stay tuned.

Do I need to bring any kind of documentation to pick up my shirts on Saturday or is my name and an ID good enough?
Just show up, identify yourself, and we’ll check you off our list.
